How do I place an order online?

First, register for an account or log into your account if you already have one. Then click on the product you want to buy, type in the quantity you want (number of cases) and click on the "ADD TO CART" button. You can then go back to the website by clicking on the "BACK TO STORE" button and add as many items as you want.

Once you are done, go to your shopping cart and click on the "CHECKOUT" button. You can now choose your preferred shipping method and payment method and enter your information. (Please make sure the shipping and billing information are accurate). After agreeing to the Terms and Conditions, click on the "PURCHASE” button and you are done! You will then receive an email that has your invoice attached.

How can I see the prices on PacknWood.com?

In order to see current prices, you need to register for an account or log into your account if you already have one. You can then click on any item and see all pricing information.

What is the minimum order online?

The minimum order is a case. You won't be able to order any product by the pack. There is no minimum order if you are ordering samples.

How do I know if your products fit my needs?

All product specifications and dimensions are available online, whether you register or not. If you are still not sure that the product you are looking at will perfectly fit your needs, you can order a sample for $1 and try the product at home.

Can I cancel an order?

​Please contact us via email contact@packnwood.com if you would like to cancel or make changes to an order. If your order has already gone into our warehouse for processing, it may not be able to be cancelled. Please do not consider your order cancelled until you have received written confirmation from PacknWood.

If your order has not yet been charged, we can make changes for you. If your card has been charged, a new order will need to be placed. Our customer service center is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 6pm ET. If your email is received over the weekend, someone will respond on Monday morning.

Can I change my shipping address?

​​​If your order has not been processed at our warehouse yet, we can change the shipping address for you at no additional charge. If the order has already been processed, UPS charges $12.50 and up to re-route packages. The total amount will be given to you based on your order. Once payment has been received, we will be able to update your shipping address with the carrier. Please note this may add 1-2 business days to the transit time.

How do I order samples on PacknWood.com?

Click on the product you want to buy samples for. Click on the sample on the right side of the screen and click on "ADD TO CART" button. Once you are done, go to your shopping cart and click on the "CHECKOUT" button. You can now choose your preferred shipping method and payment method and enter your information. (Please make sure the shipping and billing information are accurate). After agreeing to the Terms and Conditions, click on the "PURCHASE” button. You will then receive an email that has your invoice attached.

Please note that samples are shipped within 5 business days. Substitutions of like samples may be sent when ordered samples are not available in the office.

Can I order an item that you don't currently have in stock?

Is there a volume discount on PacknWood.com?

Can my order be delivered outside of the US?

We do customize and create custom product. Please email contact@packnwood.com for more information about minimum order and quote.

How much is shipping and handling?

Shipping will be calculated at time of check out based on order size and weight.

What is the delivery time of my order?

All samples are shipped within 5 business days. All other orders will usually ship within 24 hours if the order is placed before 1pm ET Monday-Friday (Not including Holidays). If your order is placed after 1pm ET, it will ship the next day.

For an additional charge a rush fee can be applied for same day shipping after 1pm EST. Shipping times are not guaranteed.

After your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number that will allow you to track the shipping progress of your order. The delivery time depends on the location where the products are being shipped.

How do I track my order?

A tracking number will be emailed to you the day after your order shipped. You will then be able to track your order by going to http://www.ups.com

One of my items didn't arrive/arrived damaged (Truck Deliveries)

Please inspect your order before the driver leaves. If there are any shortages or damages to cases, please note this on the paperwork the driver will give you to sign. Please follow the following steps to ensure that the issue can be taken care of.

  • Make note of the issue on the driver's paperwork.
  • Email contact@packnwood.com within 24 hours and let us know about the issue. Please do not throw out any damaged cases and/or product.
  • Please send pictures of damage to contact@packnwood.com.

As careful as carriers are, there sometimes can be damages to products and packaging. When this occurs, we can send you new product or reimburse you for the purchase price of the product. In order to do this, we must be able to put a claim in with our carriers. If these steps are not taken, we will not be able to send new product or reimburse you for any product cost.

Please only sign for the number of cases you receive. Please make sure to also check the SKUs. If you realize after the driver has left that your order is short, we will be unable to reimburse you for any product or send replacement items.

My order arrived damaged/missing items - UPS/FedEx/USPS

Please email contact@packnwood.com within 5 business days of delivery when your order arrives damaged or short. Please make sure that pictures are included for any damages. We will need pictures of both the damaged product as well as the case. Without this documentation, we will be unable to reimburse you or send new product. Please allow up to 24 business hours for someone to respond to your email to work on a solution that will best fit your needs.

Where's my product?

Please reach out to contact@packnwood.com if your order seems delayed or lost in transit. We will reach out to the carrier for you and find out what happened.

Why did my order ship from New Jersey and Nevada?

We will always first try to ship all parts of your order from the warehouse closest to you. There will be times though where product is only available in one of our other locations. Please always put your need by date in the special instruction box if you are short on time. If your order will not arrive in time for your deadline, we will always reach out to you to see how you would like this handled. If there is no need by date listed in the special instruction box, transit times cannot be guaranteed.

Door to Door Service

Our free shipping policy does not include residential addresses and locations without a dock. If you are in one of these types of locations, we do offer door to door delivery for pallet size orders. The driver will arrange a time with you for the delivery and bring your order inside for you. If you are interested in receiving a quote for this, please email contact@packnwood.com.

What is your return/exchange policy?

PacknWood accepts returns on orders of up to ten unopened cases only. Any returns above this amount will need to be reviewed and approved by management. All returns must be requested within seven days of order delivery. Please email contact@packnwood.com to request a return form. Any requests emailed after seven days of delivery will not be eligible for a return.

Please note that there will be a 25% restocking fee for the return. This restocking fee is deducted from the total refund amount owed. All cases must be in the original, unopened condition. Any product from opened cases will not be eligible for a refund. If an opened case is returned, you may request to have it shipped back to you at your expense or we will discard the case without a refund.

All returns must be received back to our warehouse within 30 days of receiving the return paperwork. Any returns received after the 30 day period will not be eligible for any refunds. Returns must be shipped back to the warehouse address listed on the return paperwork. Any returns received to a different location will have shipping charges removed from the refund for the shipping expenses incurred when returning the cases to the correct warehouse.

Note: If you received the wrong item, please e-mail contact@packnwood.com, as this would not fall under our return policy. We will work to ensure that you always receive the correct items you order.

Are cardboard and paper compostable?

Cardboard and paper are not compostable because they are made of paper paste and chemical additives. However, they are recyclable. A single fiber paper can be recycled up to 10 times.

Are molded pulp products compostable?

Molded pulp products are compostable if they are made of vegetable residues and without any chemical additives. In this case, they are in accordance to the EN 13432 norm.

Is wooden packaging compostable?

By definition, wood is compostable and biodegradable when it is completely natural. However, wooden products are often associated with plastic, paper, glue, or inks. In this case, it wouldn't be a 100% compostable product. Wood is also easily recycled; it can be transformed into chips and used once again.

What are PEFC and FSC certifications?

These are forestry certifications concerning the sustainable management of forests. They guarantee an eco-aware management process. This certification is very common among European and North American forests.

What does biodegradable mean?

A biodegradable product is the one that can be easily decomposed by microorganisms without adding any chemical products. Time for biodegradability will depend on the amount of oxygen, the relative humidity rate, and temperature.

What is the AIB Vinçotte's "OK biodegradable" label?

Created in 2009, this label measures the amount of carbon coming from renewable sources regarding fossil carbon inside a matter, in order to give value to products coming from renewable sources. According to the renewable raw materials rate (% bio based) inside a product, products can be certified as "1 star bio based," "2 stars bio based," "3 stars bio based," or "4 stars bio based."

What is the AIB Vinçotte's "OK compost" label?

This is a European label diffused by the Belgium agency Aib Vinçotte, which guarantees that the components of a product can be composted in an industrial or professional composting zone without detrimental effects to the compost quality. When time comes for decomposition, the highest possible temperature is needed of more than 131°F A second OK Compost Home label exists that guarantees that the components of the product can be composted in a private compost or in a drum. If the composting process goes well, the product will decompose itself within several months.

What is the composting process?

Composting is a natural biological process that gives value to organic matters and allows its conversion into a high humic product when in the presence of oxygen. At the end of the composting process, we get compost or humus, which can be directly used in agriculture. By composting, we avoid costly and polluting incinerators, and we give value to our waste.

What is the difference between a homemade composting and the industrial composting?

The difference comes from the temperature and the composting time. Industrial composting requires a temperature of 167°-176°F, a humidity rate of 65-70%, and an oxygen rate of 18-20%. In these conditions, composting takes around 12 weeks. In garden compost, temperature never exceeds 104°F and humidity will depend on the time of the year, the season, and the latitude. Composting can take up to several months.

What is the difference between a recyclable product and a recycled product?

A recycled product is fully or partially made of waste. The most common recycled product is glass or the recycled paper, made of paper waste. A recyclable product can be reused by recycling or by industrial processing.

What is the difference between biodegradable and compostable?

Biodegradable and compostable don't mean the same thing. A biodegradable product can be decomposed by microorganisms, but it doesn't necessarily mean that it will produce good quality compost (humic). Consequently, a biodegradable product is not necessarily compostable. However, a compostable product is necessarily biodegradable.

What is the difference between degradable and biodegradable?

Biodegradable products have a vegetal origin. The whole biodegradation process takes several months under the ground. Products that can be degraded (or divided into several fragments) come from an oil-producing origin, they made of polyethylene PE and chemical additives. With the presence of oxygen, under the effect of heat and UV rays, they lose their mechanical resistance, break up into several particles, and visually disappear.

What is the Din Certco label?

This is a European label diffused by the German Agency Din Certco, which equivalent is the norm EN 13432 regarding biodegradability and composting.

What is the European ecological label?

Created in 1992, the European ecological label is the only official label that can be used in all the member states of the European Union. For now, it is mostly affixed on the cleaning household products.

What is the European norm EN 13432?

This is the European norm concerning packaging and packaging waste. This norm establishes the requirements regarding the value we can give to the packaging by composting and biodegradation. It rests in 5 firm foundations: composting, biodegradability, disintegration, final compost quality, and eco toxicity.

What is the green spot label?

The green spot label means the company has made a contribution to an authorized recycling organization, but it doesn't mean that the product is recycled.

What does PLA and PSM mean?

PLA and PSM are vegetal synthetic resins coming from starch. PLA is the abbreviation for polylactic acid or polylactide, which is a result of the sugar or starch fermentation. It is a transparent material, resistant and insipid, a natural alternative to polyethylene, 100% biodegradable, and compostable. PSM (abbreviation for PLA starch material) is a starch polymer, solid and microwave-resistant, 100% biodegradable, and compostable.

What is the NF environment mark?

Created in 1991, this label requires some eligibility criteria concerning highly toxic materials used by the most traditional polluting industries (painting, varnish, house furnishings, and bag industry).

Due to the variety of materials and designs, our products are manufactured in different countries around the world, including Europe, Asia, USA, and Africa.
